Comments Introduced in the mid-1980s (Ref. 36771). Reported to have been introduced in 1990 (Ref. 12204). Poses a threat to continued successful lake trout reproduction (Ref. 12390). Have competed for space and food of commercial stocks (Ref. 36771). It is illegal in Illinois and Indiana and most other Great Lake states to possess live gobies.
